Course Description
The DriveWise BC Gear-Up Program is a comprehensive, step-by-step driving education series for beginner drivers. This 4.5-hour package consists of three 90-minute sessions, gradually building essential driving skills to help you drive confidently with a co-driver. Each lesson focuses on a new set of skills, from basic vehicle controls to navigating intersections and mastering parking techniques.
This program is perfect for those new to driving who want a strong foundation to prepare for independent practice with a co-driver.
- First Gear: Driving Basics
Vehicle familiarization, adjustments, blind spots, and safe driving fundamentals. - Second Gear: Driving Basics
Residential driving, smooth turns, speed control, and shoulder checks. - Third Gear: Driving Basics
Intersections, traffic light navigation, and parking techniques.
